Ember, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo's new baby Bornean orangutan, sucks on her thumb Thursday, December 11, 2014 while in the arms of her mother, 18-year-old Hadiah. Ember, whose name was announced Tuesday, was born on October 29 at the zoo. Her name means bucket in Indonesian and Malaysian, an allusion to the way keepers reintroduced the baby to her mother after caring for them separately for a time.
