Foot injury to Broncos’ Julius Thomas not as bad as feared

The Denver Post is reporting that the early diagnosis is the ankle injury to Broncos tight end Julius Thomas is not as bad as initially feared, according to an NFL source.

Thomas injured his ankle in the first quarter of the Broncos’ 22-7 loss at St. Louis on Sunday and did not return to the game.

He underwent a magnetic resonance imaging exam Monday morning.
