The long-awaited construction of The Promenade at Castle Rock, a 1 million square foot shopping center, will begin within 30 days, according to the developers.

Groundbreaking is planned for Monday afternoon.

The $177 million project, a joint venture of Greenwood Village-based Alberta Development Partners and Denver’s Forum Real Estate Group, will be divided among four districts, among them The Front Porch, the gateway to the project which will have a farmer’s market ambiance.
