Excessive speed may have played a role when a car crashed into a Colorado Springs home Sunday night, according to police reports.

A vehicle was southbound on the 2800 block of North Chestnut Street around 9:30 p.m. when it veered off the west side of the road, crashed through a wooden fence and stopped on top of a brick wall against the front of a house.

No injuries were reported.
