Husband, wife robbed at gunpoint in east Colorado Springs apartment complex
A Colorado Springs couple reported that three males robbed them at gunpoint Sunday morning in the parking lot of their apartment complex, police said.
The husband and wife arrived home about 2 a.m. at the Pine Creek Village Apartments on the 800 block of Chapman Drive, off South Academy Boulevard, when three unknown males, possibly teenagers, stole their belongings and punched the husband repeatedly.
One of the robbers pulled a handgun and possibly struck the male victim in the head with it, police said. The robbers fled on foot from the apartment complex before police could find them and no arrests were made.
