Northeast Colorado Springs bank robbed by two men armed with screwdriver
Two men robbed the Wells Fargo Bank branch at 4151 N. Academy Blvd. about 11 a.m. Tuesday, according to Colorado Springs police.
One of the robbers, who was reportedly wearing a red bandana to cover his face, threatened bank employees with a screwdriver, police said.
Both men fled the scene in a gray or white Honda lowrider, but the direction was unknown, police said.
