Colorado Springs man accused of driving into building, pedestrians
A man was taken into custody after he allegedly crashed a car into a building and struck two pedestrians Sunday in east Colorado Springs, police said.
Joshua Lee Roybal, 23, was arrested on suspicion of DUI and vehicular assault, then booked into the El Paso County jail, records show.
Roybal allegedly lost control of his vehicle in a parking lot on the 2800 block of North Murray Boulevard, off South Carefree Circle, and drove into a corner pillar of the On The Boulevard bar, damaging the structure, police said.
Roybal then allegedly hit two people standing by a parked car, one of whom suffered non life-threatening injuries, police said.
Roybal will be advised of the charges Tuesday at the El Paso County courthouse, records show.
