Man attacked by woman in Colorado Springs park
A man was assaulted by a woman Wednesday morning at Dorchester Park south of downtown Colorado Springs, according to police.
The victim told police he was speaking with a woman about 1:30 a.m. on the 1100 block South Nevada Avenue, off East Las Vegas Street, when she pulled out a sharp-edged weapon and attacked him, police said.
The woman fled on foot and the man waited about 30 minutes to report the assault. The man was taken to a hospital for non life-threatening injuries, police said.
