Colorado Springs police use stun gun on domestic violence suspect
Police used a stun gun to subdue a man and take him into custody Wednesday in connection to a domestic disturbance call in Colorado Springs.
Brandon Baumgartner, 30, was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic violence and obstructing police, records show.
A 23-year-old woman reported a domestic violence incident from The Fillmore Crossing Apartments on the 3100 block of Sinton Road, off Fillmore Street, about 1 a.m., police said.
Baumgartner allegedly refused to speak with police or exit the apartment and briefly struggled with one of the officers, who used a stun gun to incapacitate and handcuff him, police said.
