Beer, firefighters and golf combine at 2nd annual Colorado Springs Professional Firefighters’ Golf Tournament

Sunny skies, golf, and beer are about to come together Saturday for a good cause: the 2nd annual Colorado Springs Professional Firefighters’ Golf Tournament at Pine Creek Golf Course.

Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Colorado Professional Firefighters Foundation.

Pikes Peak Brewing Co. will donate beer before and after the tournament, and Samuel Adams will provide on-course brews for the competitors.

Tee box games, long drive, closest-to-the-pin and hole-in-one competitions will give players plenty of opportunities to compete for prizes. Each player will also receive a gift from sponsor Oakley, such as sunglasses, polo shirts, golf shoes or backpacks, and there will be raffle prizes given away also.

Check-in will begin promptly at 7:30 a.m. and the tournament will officially kick off at 9 a.m.

Entry is $150 per player, and golfers can register in teams of four, or as individuals. The tournament is open to everyone and spots are filling up fast.

For more information, visit www.iafflocal5.com or call Debbie Longton at 719-596-4618 to sign up.
