Colorado Springs man faces attempted murder, child abuse charges
A Colorado Springs man was arrested Monday on suspicion of attempted second-degree murder and child abuse, according to police reports.
Lee Duane Kizer, 30, was taken into custody after police learned of a possible child abuse incident and investigators discovered Kizer was allegedly physically abusive to two juvenile males, police said.
According to police reports, detectives established probable cause to arrest Kizer on suspicion of attempted second-degree murder, crimes against at-risk juveniles and child abuse.
Kizer will be advised of the charges Tuesday at the El Paso County courthouse, records show.
