Man dies after crashing through fence in north Colorado Springs
Police confirmed one man died Monday after a vehicle crashed into a fence in a residential area in north Colorado Springs.
The wreck was reported about 8:10 a.m. near the intersection of South Rockrimmon Boulevard and Freemont Circle, police Lt. Catherine Buckley said.
The victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene, was thrown from a green Jeep when it collided with a fence and landed on its side in a backyard, police said.
“We are not sure if there was a medical event that may have led to this or not, we will wait for the coroner’s office to complete an autopsy,” Buckley said.
Several lanes are blocked at the intersection and motorists should find alternate routes, police said.
