Four juveniles were arrested in connection with two residential burglaries and a burglary at Fountain-Fort Carson High School, according to a statement released by Fountain police Monday.

All four minors, whose identities were not released by police, were arrested on suspicion of burglary and conspiracy, and two of the juveniles were also arrested on suspicion of possession of a handgun by a minor, the statement read.

Fountain police started investigating a residential burglary that happened June 2 at a home on the 6800 block of Fountain Vista Circle, off Fountain Mesa Road.

Police confirmed two juveniles were involved in the alleged home burglary and discovered two other minors also played a role in a second reported burglary at the same residence, according to Fountain police.

About $2,100 in stolen jewelry, guns and other items were recovered from both burglaries and returned to the owners, police said. Investigators also obtained information that helped them solve a burglary at Fountain-Fort Carson High School involving two of the juveniles.
