UPDATE: Southbound I-25 reopened after crash involving two semi-trucks, five vehicles
A crash involving two semi-trucks and five vehicles shut down southbound Interstate 25 at Woodmen Road Monday, Colorado Springs police said.
Lt. Catherine Buckley confirmed two people were taken to local hospitals with injuries but there had been no fatalities. Buckley did not have details on the extent of the injuries or what led up to the crash initially reported about 1:40 p.m.
All southbound lanes at Woodmen Road were reopened by 3:45 p.m., police said.
