Colorado Springs police investigate armed robbery of man leaving sports bar
A man told Colorado Springs police he was lured into a car and robbed at gunpoint Tuesday morning.
The victim said that he had been at Kelly O’Brien’s Sports Bar on the 200 block of North Academy Boulevard about 2:20 a.m. when he got into a car with three other men, police said.
The victim and three men drove to a second location, where one of the passengers pointed a gun at the victim and demanded all his money, police said.
The victim told investigators he was dropped off on the 2100 block of North Academy Boulevard, north of Constitution, and that the armed passenger fired four rounds into the air as the vehicle drove away.
Police said the investigation is ongoing and did not have a description of the vehicle involved.
