Two teens accused of attempted break-in
Two male juveniles were arrested Monday after police said they tried to break into a home in southeast Colorado Springs.
Officers responded to a burglary in progress call about 5:45 p.m. on the 2000 block of Kodiak Drive, west of South Academy Boulevard, and found a resident and a witness who said two males in their late teens had tried to kick in the front door, according to police reports.
Moments later officers arrested two males spotted nearby in El Morro Road and Delta Drive, identified by the victim and witness as being the same people who had tried to force their way in, police said.
