A 43-year-old man was hospitalized Tuesday night after an officer-involved shooting in northeast Colorado Springs, police said.

At least one officer got into a shooting with the unidentified man about 11 p.m. at a residence on the 6600 block of Summer Grace Street, south of Dublin Boulevard and east of North Powers Boulevard, according to a statement released Wednesday morning.

The man was taken to a local hospital where he is expected to make a full recovery and no officers were injured, police said.

There was no information available on the man’s identity, the circumstances surrounding the shooting, or if the man would be arrested.

Police also did not provide the name of the officer involved or say if he had been placed in administrative leave.

“We are not releasing any more information at this point, and from here it will all go through the District Attorney’s Office,” said police spokeswoman Lt. Catherine Buckley.
