The body of an 18-year-old man was found Monday in the stairwell of an apartment building on the 1200 block of Potter Drive, according to Colorado Springs police.

Major Crimes detectives were at the apartment building, across the street from General William Mitchell High School, since about 9 a.m., police said,

Next-of-kin has not been notified and police did not provide any further information about the male or the circumstances of his death.
