Two people robbed at gunpoint at Colorado Springs park
Two people were robbed at gunpoint at Roy Benavidez Park in southeast Colorado Springs about 2:47 p.m. Tuesday.
Police said the victims were sitting in a car at the park, 975 Afternoon Circle, when they were approached by the robber, who took out a handgun and demanded items.
Officers searched the area, but the robber got away. No one was injured.
