Heavy rains over burn scars could produce flash flooding Friday
Heavy rains Friday over the Waldo Canyon and Black Forest burn scars could produce flash flooding again, the National Weather Service in Pueblo said Thursday.
“Conditions are going to be rather favorable for heavy rains,” meteorologist Steve Hodanish said.
“We could see some more flash flooding on the burn scars. Both of them,” he said.
The “best chance of rain” is going to be from early afternoon into the evening hours, he said.
