Deputies arrest man in child enticement
A 27-year-old man who allegedly asked two girls for oral sex last week near King Elementary School in Widefield was arrested Thursday.
The arrest came after an El Paso County sheriff’s deputy saw the suspect, Justin Nooner, near the school again, sheriff’s spokesman Lt. Jeff Kramer said.
Nooner, who was arrested on suspicion of enticement of a child, was held at the county jail in lieu of $3,000 bail.
On April 11, the sheriff’s office received a report of the possible enticement of a child a few blocks from the elementary school the day before, Kramer said.
Two girls, ages 9 and 11, told deputies they were approached by a man who asked them for oral sex. In addition to providing a suspect description, the girls provided a description of the suspect’s vehicle and a partial license plate.
A deputy on patrol near the school Thursday noticed a vehicle and driver matching the suspect’s description. The driver, later identified as Nooner, was interviewed and subsequently arrested.
