Colorado Springs police arrested a 36-year-old man Thursday on suspicion of second-degree murder in the stabbing death of a homeless man in January.

Walter Joe Martin was taken into custody after investigators obtained an arrest warrant Thursday afternoon.

Martin is accused of killing Timothy Jordan, 48, whose body was found Jan. 28 under the Cimarron Street overpass at Interstate 25.

Jordan died of multiple stab wounds, according to the coroner’s office.
