UPDATE: Motorcyclist in critical condition after crash
A motorcyclist is in critical condition after he crashed on South Academy Boulevard near Drennan Road about 2 p.m. Monday.
The motorcyclist has been identified as 28-year-old Matthew Rose of Colorado Springs.
Police said all lanes of South Academy Boulevard are now reopen.
Police had blocked off one lane in both directions while they investigated the crash, which is still under investigation.
“Charges against the operator are pending the completion of the investigation,” police said.
