Colo. native among last babies kissed by Pope Benedict XVI
A young Colorado native named John Paul Uebbing was among the last babies kissed by Pope Benedict XVI during his time as pope.
John Paul is the son of the Catholic News Agency’s Rome bureau chief, David Eubbing. Eubbing was managing editor of the Catholic News Agency in Denver until December.
“I do believe the baby was named for Pope John Paul II, so the kiss is a particularly touching symmetry,” said Kevin Jones, a CNA staff writer.
