Summit focuses on STEM education, careers
An annual event planned for March aims to bring together students, high school engineering teachers, engineers, colleges, companies and others. One goal of the Colorado Springs Engineering Summit is to provide a clear view of possible career paths and educational options that students can pursue in science, technology, engineering or math, also called STEM.The summit includes a student showcase, a trade show with post-secondary schools and local engineering businesses and speakers.The 3rd Annual Colorado Springs Engineering Summit is set for 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. March 9 at the Freedom Financial Services Expo Center.
