Colorado Springs police were investigating a reported Saturday night sexual assault.

A man reportedly sexually assaulted a woman “throughout the night” after she went to an apartment with him, police said in a news release.

Police were dispatched to a downtown business just before 7 a.m. Sunday to investigate the incident. They were told the woman met the man in Acacia Park and went to his place.

The suspect is white, and is described as being in his 50’s, with dark gray shoulder-length hair and a beard, police said.

No other details have been released yet, and the investigation is ongoing.
