MONDAYSSouthern Colorado Springs Running Club: This casual running/walking club meets for a 5K at 6 p.m. at the Security Public Library / near Boriello Brothers; will keep running in winter, if people continue to show up.
Trinity Brewing Co. Soul Runners: Runners meet year-round at the microbrewery, 1466 Garden of the Gods Road, Suite 184, at 5:45 p.m. for a run, 4 or 8 miles, and afterward get $2 off beers. Runners get shirts on their third visit. TUESDAYS-The Attack Pack: This small club meets at 6 a.m. for an hourlong trail run at various locations, focusing on structured-tempo runs Tuesdays. Runners average an 8- to 10-minute mile.-Sunrise striders: Many of this club’s members are training for marathons. it meets at 6 a.m. at various locations. Tejon St.. Runners get food and beer specials and a shirt after their 10th run.-Nacho Ordinary Running Club: Runners meet at 5:50 p.m. at Salsa Brava, 9420 Briar Village Point, for a 3-mile run. Runners get $2.50 22-ounce beers, a $5 food discount and shirt after the 5th run, a free appetizer after 10 runs and an entree after 20. WEDNESDAYS-Palmer Lake at the Speedtrap: This club doesn’t run after the last Wednesday in October, but in warmer months it meets at 6 p.m. for a 5K run, followed by half-price Bristol beers and free pasta. Tejon St., at 6 p.m. Various speeds and distances.-Colorado Mountain Brewery Blood, Sweat and Beers Running Club: This brand-new club meets at 5:45 p.m. at the brewery at 11202 Rampart Hills View for a 2-mile walk or 5-mile jog. Runners get $3 draft beers and two-for-one appetizers.-Muldooniacs Running Club: This group meets between 6 and 6:30 p.m. at Jose Muldoons, 5710 S. Runners get a shirt and $2 Laughing Lab pints, $1 bowling games and two-for-$20 one-topping pizzas.- Holycow Running Club: Hosted by MyPeakEndurance.com at the Holy Cow Pub and Grill, Powers and Stetson Hills boulevards, at 6 p.m. for a 5K run at your own pace. A low-key, no pressure fun run. Holy Cow Running Club Facebook page- Two Elks Runners Club: Meet at Thunder and Buttons, 2415 W. Colorado Ave., at 5:30 p.m., upstairs. Walkers and runners are welcome. 5K at your own own pace on the Midland Trail (Ridge Road turnaround). Specials on beer and chili mac afterward. Tejon St.-The Wankers: This group of runners, most of whom are training for marathons, does a weekly run/walk of 6 to 15 miles. They emphasize endurance and completion over speed.
