Colorado Springs police on Friday arrested Tabuari Bell, a suspect from an Aug. 18 shooting in Fountain.

Bell was taken into custody without incident.

Bell, 31, allegedly shot Chad Tipton after an argument. Tipton was shot twice with a pistol, said a Fountain police spokesman.

Tipton was shot once in an arm and once in his left cheek, police said. The bullet entered Tipton’s left cheek and exited his head under his left ear. He was released after only a few hours at the hospital.

The Fountain spokesman said that neighborhood kids helped Bell after they saw him run from the shooting scene.
