LINDA’S PICKS: ‘The Bible Through History’

This is the first time it has been shown in the United States and it’s right here at Glen Eyrie Castle: An amazing self-guided history of the Bible — with Dead Sea Scroll fragments, rabinic scrolls and original manuscripts dating back to 1390 AD. Its setting in the castle, home of city founder Gen. William Jackson Palmer, makes it even more special. Reservations will be made for specific 2 1/2-hour blocks of time Saturday through Sept. 12. It’s $15, $20 at the door; kids, students, military and seniors are $12, $18 at the door. For groups of 10 or more, $10 each. There’s food for sale — funnel cakes, too — on site. Reserve your tickets at  gleneyrie.org/biblethroughhistory.
