Springs hoarding expert returns to TLC
Linda Reinberger, a professional organizer from Colorado Springs, will again be featured on an episode of “Hoarding: Buried Alive.” Reinberger first appeared on the series in January and she will return Sunday, helping yet another unorganized soul.
The series, which airs on TLC, follows the lives of hoarders and helps them learn how to manage their compulsion for storing large quantities of nonessential items. Therapists and organizers are on hand to guide the hoarders, and Reinberger is the primary organizer on the show’s next episode.
Reinberger worked with her client for four days over the course of seven weeks. Most of what was hoarded was thrown away.
“This episode shows what happens when a hoarder is allowed to continue for more than 25 years,” said Reinberger. In “the time and effort that it took to clean up the yard and one room in his house, we could of cleaned out 16 10×10 storage units filled to the brim with trash. It took the help of a dedicated crew of volunteers to take on the biggest hoard in TLC’s history.”
