A devotee of the first three movies, I’m thrilled the storyline is expanding beyond Matt Damon’s star turn as the confused but lethal Jason Bourne and into a new strand. It is centered on the character Aaron Cross, played by Jeremy Renner.  His work on previous action flicks, like the latest “Mission Impossible” and “The Avengers” has given me good reason to believe Renner can breathe new life into this action-packed franchise.
