Enjoy an evening out on Friday with fine wine and adorable doggies. “Ruff! Life Benefit Wine Tasting” is from 6-9 p.m. at Norris-Penrose Event Center, 1045 Lower Gold Camp Road.

It’s a benefit for the dogs rescued from mills and some of them will be there. Silent and live auctions, hors d’oeuvres, a Rescue Pooch Parade and live music.

You must be 21 or older for this National Mill Dog Rescue event.
