Police arrested 24-year-old  Saturday who they say heisted a large yellow Dodge Caravan belonging to Yellow Cab.

After the theft was reported just before 3 a.m., the cab was spotted at East Bijou Street and North Chelton Road, police said in a news release.

Officers followed the van to the intersection of  S. Chelton Road and Valli Hi Circle where they stopped it and made an arrest.

Police said Justin Rivera, the driver of the van, was arrested on investigation of motor vehicle theft and was held at the El Paso County jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
