Farmers markets are offering food and more, like antiques

Farmers markets are sprouting up like spring onions.

There you can get your fill of fresh produce and other goodies: plants, baked goods, crafts, honey, cheese, meat, herbs and antiques.

Yes, you read that correctly. The new kid on the block, Little London Market, 109 S. Sierra Madre St., will operate 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the second Saturdays of June through October. It’s brought to you by Mary Beth Cipoletti, who owns Auction House 109, the former Ross Auction building. There will be tents set up in the parking lot, and you can snoop out some treasures to adorn your home along with food.

Here’s a look at other markets — some of which have already started — that are in the pipeline. Please let us know about others we may have missed.
