KOAA has hired Trovette Tottress as a reporter/multimedia journalist. Tottress files stories on air as well as on the KOAA.com website.

Before that Tottress worked as a reporter at KYTX/Channel 19 in Tyler, Texas

Tottress graduated from the University of North Texas with a Masters of Journalism, Bachelor of Science in Radio/Television and Film and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology with minor in Spanish.

“I’m so excited to call Southern Colorado home,” Tottress said on the KOAA website. “I can’t wait to share your stories.”

Tottress enjoys the outdoors including hiking, cycling and swimming and loves animals, especially dogs.

And the one thing she hasn’t done yet?

“I have always wanted to skydive, however I’m not sure if I truly have the nerves to do so.” Tottress said.
