A man was hospitalized after he was shot in the hand Saturday morning, but he refused to tell police who shot him.

Police were called to the Memorial Hospital emergency room shortly after 2:15 a.m. to investigate the shooting. Police said the man was walking near Jetwing Drive and Hancock Expressway when he was shot.

The victim was “less than cooperative” and refused to give information, police said.

The man suffered minor injuries and the investigation is ongoing.
