A man already sought by police was arrested on suspicion of attempted aggravated robbery Tuesday morning, Colorado Springs police said.

Mark Morrow, 32, attempted to carjack a customer of the 7-Eleven at 1910 E. Fountain Blvd. at about 6 a.m., police said.

Morrow put his hands in his coat pockets and threatened to shoot a man unless he got into the passenger seat of his own car, police said. When the victim refused to cooperate, Morrow ran.

Police arrived within minutes and began searching the area. They found Morrow about 45 minutes later as he walked out from behind a building a quarter-mile from the 7-Eleven.

Morrow was wanted in connection with a domestic violence incident in Colorado Springs and had an outstanding warrant for his arrest in connection with an assault in Texas.
