2010 was an eventful year for them and 2011 promises to be bigger. On the heels of their critically acclaimed and highly publicized Brooklynati album in 2009 came Donwill’s solo project, Don Cusack in High Fidelity, a concept album based on the movie of the similar title, which earned him a feature on NY Mag’s Vulture blog and a spot on WNYC’s Soundcheck show with John Schaeffer. Then, came Von Pea’s concept album, Pea’s Gotta Have It, which earned him a feature with the Village Voice and a guest blogging spot on XXLMag.com. And then…the threesome became a twosome; their third member Ilyas formally left the group to concentrate on his own music.

Compared to Jurassic 5, De la Soul, ATCQ, Pharcyde, Organized Konfusion, Little Brother, this is old school classic Hip Hop. 

Tanya Morgan is now under new management and the duo will be recording and releasing a new album this year, touring nationally and internationally in support of the upcoming album release, and re-lanching their web site with a new online store.
