Licensing board decides it’s closing time for Club Shots
Club Shots isn’t going to be serving any more shots.
The Colorado Springs Liquor and Beer Licensing Board voted Friday to revoke the nightclub’s liquor license because of a brawl in late July that erupted outside after a rap show.
The board had suspended Club Shots’ license Aug. 2, pending Friday’s hearing.
The fight involving hundreds of patrons broke out about 2 a.m. after the concert ended. Dozens of police officers were needed to break it up, using stun guns and pepper spray.
One man was arrested for assaulting a police officer and three others were arrested for obstruction or disorderly conduct.
Club Shots, 3958 N. Academy Blvd., can stay open but is barred from serving alcohol.
