A man fired a shot inside a city bus pulling into the Chapel Hills Mall this afternoon.

Police said the bus driver at first thought the shot was a firework, and she asked the man to get off the bus.

A bullet casing was later found on the bus.

There were no injuries. No arrests have been made.
