Colorado Springs police are searching for a man injured June 6 in an assault in a southside apartment.

Witnesses told police the man, described as a hispanic male in his late 20s, sustained “significant injuries” during the assault inside an apartment at the Copper Chase Apartment Complex, 2033 Southgate Rd. The man has not been seen since.

Witnesses said he is about 6 feet tall, weighing 160 to 170 pounds with short, slicked-back black hair.

Police made a composite drawing of the man and are asking anyone who may know him or may have seen someone who looks like him to call detective Donald Chagnon at 444-7821 or Crimestoppers at 634-7867.
