Drunken driving suspect arrested after brief pursuit
A driver refused to pull over for an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent in an unmarked car Friday evening.
The agent saw Troy Dejean, 31 of Denver, driving erratically in the northbound lanes of Interstate 25 two miles north of Interquest Parkway just before 5:30 p.m. The agent turned on his emergency lights and sirens, but Dejean, who was suspected of driving under the influence, did not stop.
Dejean called 911 and told dispatchers he was not going to pull his white Ford truck over until a marked police cruiser arrived. He was eventually stopped by a Douglas County Sheriff’s deputy and arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.
