Two people were arrested Tuesday in connection with the shooting death of a man outside the El Ranchito restaurant on April 25.

Cynthia Casado-Balestier, 31, and Miguel Ortiz Marin, 25, are suspected of first-degree murder in the death of 62-year-old Esteban Garcia.

Police did not release photos of the suspects.

According to police, Garcia was shot multiple times about 10:20 p.m. in the restaurant’s parking lot during an attempted robbery.

It was the city’s sixth homicide this year, compared with 10 this time last year.
