Colorado Springs police have identified the man killed during a fight late Wednesday outside the Union Station Bar, 2419 N. Union Blvd, as 32-year-old Tyrone Lyles.

Lyles died from head injuries and his death has been ruled a homicide by the El Paso County Coroner’s Office, the city’s fourth this year. Police did not say what caused Lyles’ injuries.

According to witnesses, the fight broke out inside the bar just before midnight, then spilled outside into the parking lot, where several shots were fired.

As police arrived, officers encountered a crowd in the lot and several vehicles leaving. Lyles’ body was found in the parking lot.

Randy Ketterer, the club’s entertainment director, said Lyles was hit by a car and the online blotter report said police were searching for an older model, dark-colored four-door sedan that had been seen leaving the bar’s lot.
