Brenna Harfert, a 19-year-old Peyton resident, has been crowned the 2010 El Paso County Fair Queen.

A 2009 graduate of Peyton High School, Harfert is currently a student at Colorado State University in Pueblo. She’s majoring in business management with a minor in liberal studies.

Harfert spent eight years in the Plainsmen & Fiber Friends 4-H Clubs, where her special project was fiber goats.

Harfert will be present at the 105th annual El Paso County Fair, which will be held July 24-July 31 in Calhan.
