Colorado Springs Police caught two males suspected in an overnight convenience store robbery.

Police said two suspects, Charles Soberanis, 24, and a juvenile male, whose name was not released, demanded money and cigarettes at the Circle K, 6560 S. Academy Blvd., in the 2:30 a.m. robbery.

After threatening the clerk with a shotgun, they fled in a black SUV.

A pursuit ensued when the robbers ran a stop sign, then drove through the parking lot of an apartment complex into a field, where the vehicle got stuck. Police caught Soberanis and the juvenile in a nearby creek bed.

The males also are suspects in an earlier theft and a burglary in El Paso County and Fountain.
