Suspected robber hits the other sandwich shop
After a string of Subway sandwich robberies in recent years, at least one alleged robber decided to hit up a Schlotsky’s for a change.
David Larson, 45, was arrested on suspicion of robbing the Schlotsky’s at 1867 S. Nevada Ave. about 7:35 p.m. Thursday, according to the Colorado Springs police blotter. The man, armed with a shotgun, robbed the store and ordered the manager to walk outside with him as he left, according to police. No one was injured.
Police officers with dogs were able to track Larson, where they found him inside a building.
