Motorcyclist injured in crash with Jeep

A motorcyclist is in serious condition after a Jeep Grand Cherokee turned left in front of him and he crashed this afternoon.

Taylor Sills, 23, was northbound on North Academy Boulevard just before 2 p.m. when Deborah Roushanshad, 50, turned left onto Shrider Road right in front of him, Colorado Springs Police said.

Roushanshad was ticketed for careless driving. Police believe speed was a factor in the crash.
