The Market at Garden of the Gods Gourmet, 2528 W. Cucharras St. in Old Colorado City, is packaging some of the entrees that Ben Hoffer, executive chef at Café 36 in the Fine Arts Center, serves on his menu. You pick up the raw meat and cook it at home.

For instance, four bison strip steaks are packaged with Garden of the Gods’s Southwest Blend, fresh chimichurri sauce, sweet potato rounds and scallions. Directions for cooking and serving are included. They also sell packages of four Cafe 36 bison burger patties, with caramelized onions, Stilton blueberry cheese and focaccia rolls.
