Who is coming to town?

The Sky Sox host Fresno in a four-game series that starts Tuesday. The Grizzlies, the Triple-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants since 1998, are second in the Pacific Coast League’s South Division — four games behind Sacramento — and are playing the PCL North-leading Sky Sox for the first time.

Prospects to watch

• Alex Hinshaw, LHPHasn’t matched his dominance from last year, when his .098 batting average against in 13 Triple-A outings earned the skinny, 6-foot-5 lefty a promotion to the major leagues.

• Matt Downs, 2B/UTILRated as the Giants’ No. 24 prospect by Baseball America, he has shown plenty of pop for a versatile INF/OF with six home runs and 34 RBIs.

• Billy Sadler, RHPIn his fourth Triple-A season, Sadler is 5-1 but continues to struggle with command (26 walks in 471/3 innings).

• Ramon Ortiz, RHPThe big-league veteran with 84 victories went 15-9 for the World Series champion Angels in 2002 and won two postseason starts.

• Pat Misch, LHPHas pitched for the Giants in each of the past four seasons. He’s rolling right now, posting a 2.00 ERA in 27 innings.

• Jesus Guzman, 1BThough not considered a top prospect, the 24-year-old leads all current PCL hitters with a .383 average.
